The Algarve 7s team is delighted to be hosting you at the fabulous Vila Real de Santo Antonio Stadium & Sports Complex.
The VRSA SPORTS COMPLEX is one of the most highly regarded sports centers in Europe.
The complex is a high performance training center accredited by the IAAF and is recognized by the Portuguese Olympic Committee as an Official Training Centre. The stadium & sports center is close to the beach resort of Monte Gordo where all players and teams taking part in the Algarve 7s will be accommodated. The center is located walking distance from the Algarve 7s official hotel/accommodation unit (s).
Located on the outskirts of the city of Vila Real de Santo Antonio (VRSA), is easily accessible from Faro, Seville or Lisbon International Airports.
The fantastic climate of the Algarve and the golden beach sands of Monte Gordo combined with the first class sports facilities available for players/team and supporters make this a unique proposal for all taking part or just coming for a fun weekend away.
CASTRO MARIM GOLF
& COUNTRY CLUB
Castro Marim Golf Course is located close to the historic town of Castro Marim the 3 courses of nine holes run through undulating hills dotted with pines and occasional views across the River Guadiana to neighbouring Spain. They are named Atlantic, Grouse and Guardiana.
MONTE GORDO BEACH
The stunning Monte Gordo Beach will serve as the stage for the Beach Tennis, Beach Hockey, and Open Water Swimming tournaments.
CHANGING FACILITIES
All tournaments venues include changing faclities and showers near the fields.
FOOD AVAILABLE
AT THE TOURNAMENT VENUE
There will be a bar and restaurant serving snacks and meals throughout both days of the Algarve 7s Tournament for all teams taking part in the event.
