We are delighted to inform that Cascais will be entering in the Algarve 7s for the first time and competing in the Men´s Open Competition.
Founded only in 1975, Cascais Rugby quickly established itself as one of the strongest clubs in Portugal and currently fields regularly 15 teams and over 400 young players every weekend. In less than 50 years of history Cascais Rugby won 06 Divisão de Honra (1st Division) championships (1987, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996) and 02 Iberian Cups (1993, 1997) and in the sevens code with the “golden” generation managed to secure 02 Lisboa Sevens Cups in 1997 (Cascais 21 v Samurai 17) and 1998 (Cascais 59 v Marauders 14) when Lisbon, before the start of HSBC World Series, hosted one of the most prestigious sevens tournaments in the world.
