We are thrilled to announce that the Algarve 7s is back in 2025, and it's going to be bigger and better than ever! This year, we have exciting news to share.
 
Alongside our popular rugby, netball, and golf competitions, we are introducing new elements to enhance the festival experience. The golf tournament will once again take place at the breathtaking Castro Marim Golf Course, offering players the perfect blend of competition and stunning scenery in the heart of the Algarve.
 
As in previous years, the rugby and netball competitions will be hosted at the prestigious Stadium and High Performance Center of Vila Real de Santo António, located in the beautiful eastern Algarve. 
 
In addition to these core sports, we are excited to announce that this year's festival will also feature Beach Hockey, Beach Tennis, and Open Water Swimming events, all taking place at the beautiful Monte Gordo beach. Furthermore, the exciting new sports of Flag Football and Padel will be held at the Vila Real de Santo António Sports Complex, bringing even more variety and excitement to the festival.
 
With over 70 international teams and more than 2,000 athletes expected to participate, Algarve 7s 2025 promises to be an extraordinary festival of sport, camaraderie, and entertainment. Whether you're a player or a spectator, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
